The Elements of Design: Line

A line is an identifiable path that may vary in width, direction, and length. They often define the edges of a form, and can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, straight, curved, thick, or thin.

Implied line (series of dots, broken line, etc.)

The curved white line is broken by overlapping shapes but our mind continues the movement.
