Assignment 2 Step 2: Choose one of your thumbnails and draw, from life, a 9"x12" organic composition—do not take a photo and copy it. Finish the lines using Micron pens. Do not use other media (charcoal and graphite). Use all three of your Micron pens for line/weight variation, i.e. use the 08 for thicker lines, not just to fill in values. Take a photo of your still-life and submit it with your drawing so that your instructor can compare proportions, etc. Submit your work as usual. (15 points)

Deadlines
Post completed drawings by Monday 11:55 PM: Scan and submit your completed drawings to the discussion board. I will provide feedback and a grade for each of your drawings. I will be using the following questions to help grade your drawings:
-
Are the sizes and placements pleasing?
-
Do the drawings adequately represent dominant/subordinant, golden rectangle, variation, harmony, unity, positive and negative space, shape, overlapping, and other design elements?
- How is the line quality?
