Assignments: 1 and 2 Point Interiors
Specifications
Subject matter: 1 point and 2 point room of your choice.

Assignment 1:
Step 1: Take photos of a 1 point perspective room using the directions in the "Finding Perspective in a Photograph" page (see link at right).
Step 2: Print out your best photo and mark it with red pen as described in the video that you watched about finding perspective (again, see link above).
Step 3: Draw at least four thumbnails, showing 4 different options of what your proposed finished drawing will look like.
Step 4: Post your completed thumbnails and your marked-up photographs on the discussion board. If your photographs are not marked with red pen like the video shows, you will not receive full credit.
Step 5: View and comment on at least 2 other students' work. - Assignment 2: Follow the same steps above, but this time, create a 2 point perspective drawing. Post your completed 4 thumbnails and the red-marked photographs on the discussion board. View and comment on at least 2 other students' work.
- Assignment 3:
Step 1: Choose your most effective thumbnail. You will now create a finished, 1 point perspective drawing.
Step 2: On a 9 x 12 piece of paper, draw your 1 point perspective room.
Step 3: Add line variation (thicker, darker lines for front planes and closer objects, & thinner, lighter lines for back planes and farther objects) to complete the drawing.
Step 4: Post your completed drawing on the discussion board.
Step 5: Be sure to comment on at least 2 other students' work. - Assignment 4: Follow the same steps above to create your finished, 2 point perspective drawing. Post your completed drawing on the discussion board. Be sure to comment on at least 2 other students' work.

Deadlines
Post your completed drawings and photographs for Assignments 1 and 2 by Thursday 11:59 PM and for Assignments 3 and 4 by Monday by 11:59 PM: Scan in and submit your drawings to the discussion board.
Provide feedback by Friday and Tuesday by 11:59 PM: Provide feedback to members of the class. I will be providing feedback, but I’d like you to offer feedback also. In your feedback answer the following questions:
- Are the drawings in proportion?
- How are the lines for the 1 point drawings?
- How are the lines for the 2 point drawings?
- Make suggestions for improvement.
